Has anyone invented updated, reliable electric headlamp motors to replace the non reliable stock motors on first gen RS headlamp motors?
If so, please share source.
Thx.

Can the 1967 motors be fitted to work?

Are you trying to replace the vaccum actuator on a 69 with electric motors?
Ricks has two...
One with remote control...

Rick,
I ran into a guy at Spring Carlisle who sells electric motor conversions for the 1st gen cars. They were simple to install and worked quite well. I'm keeping mine vacuum for now. I'll try to dig his info up and post it.

Checked into the ones on Ricks First Gen. Man MFP508, they sure are proud of those, aren't they?
I'd be interested in the ones you seen at Carlisle rsconv68.
I guess what I am looking for is a replacement for the current one on the first gen camaros. I have a 1967 RS/SS and a 1969RS. Have had trouble with both headlamp systems and am looking for a better mouse trap.
Thx all.
Rick
