the thermostat shoots through the roof!
I had my fuel pump, thermostat, fuel filter and water pump replaced in June 08. Right after that, the fuel gauge would never read accurately,(jumpin high & low, even when I know its on "E"; it still shows FULL. And most recently the "check gauges light" comes on an the thermostat shoots through the roof, and the fuel gauge will jump high and low.. once that check light goes out when it feels like it, the thermostat reading returns to the 9 o'clock position, and the fuel gauge continues to be in accurate.
(I have a red 1993, camaro rs, automatic, with 264K on the clock, but a rebuilt motor in 2003, and new transmission in 2004.)
I pulled over several times, and I have no leaks, and all my fluid levels are normal, with no visual signs of overheating, all normal sounds.
WTF?
Is it a faulty gauge cluster? fuel sending unit bad? Never had this issue prior to replacing the fuel pump, and etc..Not sure why the thermostat gauge is going ape crazy??
What can I do? Help please, this is a ROYAL pain in my butt.

thanks in advance.
