headers Problem

hi.
i have lots of problems with the headers.
i install my headers and i begun to have problems with my wires cause the headers burned it up, them i wrap the headers with thermo tec and sitll have the same problems...i also cover my wires spark plugs.
so what can i do? anybody have the same problems as me?
i have camaro z28 / 1997

Would like to see a photo of your set up, but you might want to consider using a wire loom

try to find something like these. Ceramics are a better conductor of heat. I'll do some more research for you, I know you can get them at any NAPA store for about $100
