Anyone repo these yet? Mine is shot on both sides. Inside nut plates for inner fender wells rotted. Thanks in advance.

I've checked with several of our vendors and no one makes a radiator core support for a 78-81 Camaro. For some reason they skip these years, and continue from 1982-1992.

As far as I know the earlier core support will not work. Unless you are planning on putting the entire early 70's style sheet metal on. I know it's been done. So far the only place i've seen that has some decent used ones is www.fbodywarehouse.com Talk to Pete. You might also want to check the swap meet section at www.nastyz28.com Hope that helps!

On my son's 1979 Berlinetta, the core support was rusted out. I found a rust free one from a 1977 Camaro. The core support was identical except for around the head lights. I drilled out some spot welds from the 1977 core support and bolted in the metal that goes around the head lights. Works like it was made for it. :)
