Has anybody installed one of theses systems??
does it work well, are there any gotchas??
trying to see if its worth putting down a grand to get one of these. and what kind of machanical ability you need to have to install it.

I installed a Classic Auto Air perfect fit kit in my '73. The qaulity of the parts and kit were very good, customer service was excellent, and the units performance is outstanding in every aspect. Installation was easy, although I did have the dash out of the car at the time which greatly simplified the task.

Were you satisfied with the price, I understand they are a little pricey?

Price was around $1100, but I already had a compressor with my serpentine set-up so the price came down to around $798 I think it was, without the compressor. So, yes overall I am satisfied.

I got a deal one (1/2 price) & install wasn't hard at all . I had to get a hole saw to install ball vents in dash and have hose ends installed locally after fitting hoses & marking the alignment of fittings.
Works great !!!
